Organization - Kanban Board

It's a new year, and with it comes wishes of organization.

Enter the Kanban Board. I first found this idea from Cora's Quilts. As a visual person, I fell in love with this it. Plus, you get to buy sharpies and post it notes. Sold!

I had to use my ruler to make my lines, I'm slightly anal like that.

I chose my own focus pieces, but admit to using Cora's ideas for each little column.

Should I choose to change any of these it's easy to erase the permanent marker. Simply go over the permanent marker with a dry erase marker, then wipe.

P.S. This works on most plastic surfaces.

Unfortunately, my dry erase board didn't come with little eyelets to hang, and I didn't catch that until after garbage day. So I grabbed a couple of these. I'll let you know how they hold.

There she is in all her glory! I'm so excited to see this in motion. I'm in need of a big visual way of organization and I think this will work well, though I know I will need to tweak it a bit as I go. What are your favorite organizational tools? What are your organizational weakness?

Happy Stitching!
