We're heading into fall and since this is my favorite time of year I want to be outside as much as possible. That means the next few blocks are easy peasy quick sews.
September's color is red violet. Think purple with a red/pink tinge to it. Here's the block!

Piecing Tips
I didn't have a lot of red violet on hand, but I did have this fabulous piece. By fussy cutting I was able to pull out the red violet sections and use them in the block. Don't ignore those multicolored pieces in your stash!
When sewing the units together I pinned at the seams and at the end to make sure my pieces didn't need to be trimmed.
