One thing that I really love about using EQ8 is the ability to see my quilt designs with the fabric I want to use. It shows me, before the first cut, if the fabrics will work or not. It also allows me to play with the layout. Turning blocks with a click of the mouse has lead to a few "Oh my gosh!" moments when a pattern has gone from pretty to amazing. Looking at you Square Illusions.
