Yay, but you do have to be careful for those that run small.
ReplyDeleteI love your beautiful quilt. It really sets off Pat's colors and patterns. Can't wait to come back and see the other testers results. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI love your quilt. Yay on precuts. All my quilting these days is for charity and precuts make it so easy.
ReplyDeleteLove your color choices from Morrison Park -- especially the blocks that seem to disappear into the background.
ReplyDeleteBecause my stash is filled with scraps and leftovers from previous projects, I love precuts--so clean, such a fresh start!
ReplyDeleteI am new at this, so precuts eliminate one layer of stress for this newbie!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the giveaway!!
Pre-cuts - definitely yay! When you buy them, you know that they will all go together well. My problem is that I have started to just do the same patterns each time, so I am now using some of the many books I have to look for something a bit different to do - a different pattern. I’m such a fan of pre-cuts that I have boxes filled with them, and have plans to create my own; yes, I know that isn’t really what you mean by pre-cuts, but the ease of having a box of shapes cut ready appeals to me. One day, perhaps in the not too distant future, I will use my Sizzix Bigshot to cut shapes from my growing stash, so that I can make the quilts that are in my head (and as none of my social groups are meeting at the current time here in the U.K., I have little else to do apart from cook and sew, so I may get round to doing it sooner!)
ReplyDeleteI love fat quarters! I really like yardage though for bigger projects. I thought a mini bolt was a huge amount - finished that baby off in under two months!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite precuts are fat quarters and 10' squares. Your pattern looks beautiful! Love the Morrison Park fabric.
ReplyDeleteI love the process from cutting to binding - so I am not much on precuts
ReplyDeleteYay!❤️ Precuts are a great way to use all or a wide variety of designs from a line. They can also save time and are easier to handle than yardage. But, you already knew that.😊
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pattern and use of the MorrisonPark fabrics! Thanks for hosting this giveaway. I can’t believe it took Pat Sloan’s giveaway for me to find you as I live in Willmar, MN! Small quilting world!!
ReplyDeleteI prefer fat quarters. I love your quilt!
ReplyDeletePrecuts are great, especially charms and jelly rolls.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pattern!
ReplyDeleteI really like the pattern you designed.
ReplyDeleteA big Yah from me for pre cuts!
ReplyDeletePrecuts? YAY!!
ReplyDeleteLove the fabric and beautiful quilt! Yay to precuts.
ReplyDeleteI agree, I could sit and look at this all day too❣️ Your pattern makes Pat’s fabric really stand out!
ReplyDeleteLove your Quilt and the fact that it uses fat quarters! I love using precuts as much as I love pulling from my stash. 😊 Precuts are great for when I want to make something quick as most of the cutting is already done!I
ReplyDeleteSandy
I got started quilting by following Jenny Doan's tutorials, so I began with precuts and still like to use them.
ReplyDeleteBecame a fan when Pat Sloan introduced me to Perfect 10 layer cake sew along.
ReplyDeleteLove precuts- Yay!
ReplyDeleteyay to precuts....sometimes :-)
ReplyDeleteI find myself reaching for the pre-cuts in my stash over yardage. Mostly FQ and jelly rolls- I think it’s because they’re easier to manipulate.
ReplyDeleteI am ambivalent about precuts. On one hand, you get an assortment of colors and prints, and they can be convenient to use. On the other hand, they don't always work with the patterns that I want to use them for. They also tend to be expensive.
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt! That would definitely be a yay on pre-cuts!
ReplyDeleteI love precuts!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful use of the fabrics. Fresh and warm quilt!
ReplyDeleteThis is just the prettiest and cozy looking quilt! I always enjoy seeing what little sneak peek you are sharing. Your comment about your husband gave me a chuckle. When it comes to fabric...... I love charm squares and can't resist fat quarters, layer cakes are delicious and the list goes on. Thanks for the lovely giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI am neutral on pre-cuts. I rarely purchase them as it is less expensive to buy yardage and I can select the fabrics I want with yardage.

ReplyDeleteI love the way this beautiful quilt keeps the eye moving! I love working with precuts. A great time saver!
ReplyDeleteI love precuts and have more than I need. They are very handy and don't take up a lot of room.
ReplyDeleteI love precuts
ReplyDeletePrecuts are ok, for a scrappy look. I like that more lines are coming out with two colors. I like to buy a yard or two if I'm not sure what it will be for.

I just discovered you on the Morrison Park tour. Great to meet you and your patterns!
ReplyDeleteOh, and I love precuts and then purchase background and borders.
ReplyDeleteOk, I love your pattern. Now I have 6 quilts to make with Pat’s fabric. I love the all!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is beautiful! Yes, I do like using precuts.
ReplyDeletececilialyoung at gmail dot com
Precuts are awesome!! Gorgeous quilt!!
ReplyDeleteI love pre-cuts!!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is so pretty 😍 I love precuts! They’re perfect for gift giving (in case anyone was wondering what to get me for Xmas!)

ReplyDeleteYes Precuts!! It's fun to experiment with an entire line - then of course get more of the ones you love!
ReplyDeleteLove your quilt with Morrison Park!! I do love pre-cuts. I've done quite a few quilts with them.
ReplyDeleteOh I love a stripe binding!
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is so pretty. Great job!
ReplyDeletePat did a great job on the fabrics---and therefore you had a great pallet to work with, love your quilt.
ReplyDeleteI love precuts! That is a beautiful quilt!
ReplyDeletePS I love precuts---the collection all in one tangible bundle.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pattern! Love the red border! Pat would be happy (she love red)!!
ReplyDeleteI love FQ’s. Will use Charm Packs and Layer Cakes if I want a variety of prints from the same line.
ReplyDeleteI love FQ’s! Beautiful pattern!!
ReplyDeleteWhen I started quilting I bought a lot of precuts. Problem was, maybe I wanted to make a quilt using 2 packs of say, 5 inch squares, but I only had one. Now I prefer to buy fat quarter bundles, so I have a better chance at having enough!
ReplyDeleteReally enjoying the fabric tour - this quilt is beautiful!
ReplyDeletePre-cuts!
ReplyDeleteHi. Thanks for sharing the different morrison park color ways on your fb page, such beautiful choices. Love your quilt
ReplyDeleteI love precuts...sometimes it's just hard to cut into a beautiful stack of them though! Your quilt is so lovely, thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI understand why you stare at this quilt, it’s beautiful.
ReplyDeleteNot a precut fan as here in Canada they are expensive and not easy to buy. Often there are prints in precuts that don't appeal to me. I love to pick my own fabrics. I do love your pattern and the fabrics you chose. Great finish!
ReplyDeleteYes pre-cuts! Fabric has gotten so expensive and I want to use a full collection every now and then.
ReplyDeletePre cuts, depends on the pattern. Pretty quilt.
ReplyDeleteI love fat quarters. There are so many blocks and quilt patterns that work with these. I remember my grandmother having to cut yardage down to the sizes for each block.
ReplyDeleteI love precuts especially FQ bundles... very versatile!!
ReplyDeleteA few but too many times there are colors or patterns I don't care for so usually pick my own. Adorable pattern and I like the scrappy backing too.
ReplyDeleteYay, for precuts--I have most of the varieties!!
ReplyDeletebarbkaup(at)(yahoo)(dot)(com)
I always love the look of precuts but unless it is a fat quarter, I find them hard to use without a pattern or directions. Usually one charm pack is not enough but how many should I buy of one line if I don't know what I will do with it?
ReplyDeleteYour Wild blossoms pattern looks great in Morrison Park. I like fat quarters best as they give you more options, but a layer cake is great when you just want some of the whole line and have no specific pattern in mind.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is so colorful. I like that you design patterns for beginners
ReplyDeleteJen I love your quilt! Thank you so much for being part of my tour!
ReplyDeleteI do like them but most of the time I cut my own because it’s more economical
ReplyDeleteI like some precuts, but tend to go for the larger ones, like layer cakes or fat quarters.
ReplyDeleteLove precuts!
ReplyDeleteFor certain projects, I like products but not for quilts.
ReplyDeletePrecuts are wonderful, especially fat quarters. I love your quilt!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you
kcummings71@gmail.com
I love pre-cuts! Sometimes I cut my own from half yards (10" sqs and 2-+/2" ans 1-1/2" strips).
ReplyDeleteFat quarters are my fav!
ReplyDeletePrecuts is not my favorites.
ReplyDeletePrecuts are always awesome when you don't want to purchase a large amount of fabric. Depending on what you are making they work perfectly.
ReplyDeleteI like to buy precuts but have many now that I have never used. I recently purchased a few books for different side precuts, so maybe I will finally use them.
ReplyDeleteI love precuts but being on a low fixed income I usually end up making my own.
ReplyDeleteI use precuts all the time
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt and fun blog! Thanks Jen.
ReplyDeleteI like precuts but haven't used them much. I enjoyed visiting your site and seeing your Wild Blossoms quilt.
ReplyDeleteI love precuts! So many options for patterns now and you get a little of each print without having to buy lots of yardage.
ReplyDeleteI love precuts! Easier to store, less cutting, usually cheaper overall than buying 1/2 yd increments of 10 to 20 different fabrics in a line. I do realize you pay for the manufacturer to cut the precuts, but I still like suitable precuts.
ReplyDeleteLove precuts. Beautiful quilt.
ReplyDeleteLove precuts!
ReplyDeleteWow I really love your pattern and the colors you've chosen...
ReplyDeleteI just might have to get the kit...😘💗
I love buying pre-cuts but sometimes have a hard time opening them up to cut. Such pretty colors😄. I need to check out your site, I am fairly new to quilting and love easy patterns with good hints.
ReplyDeleteI love precuts and find them great to use in piecing quilts. The color choices are so good too.
ReplyDeleteI love the chance to learn about different quilt designers. Your pattern is fresh and clean. I can see how florals would create a wild garden!

ReplyDeleteYay
ReplyDeletePre cuts Yay I like them It makes the project go quicker.
ReplyDeleteYes, I love precuts. They are so organized, all the fabrics, and colors.
ReplyDeletePrecuts are so much fun, especially since they often have the entire fabric line!
ReplyDeleteLove this quilt. I do like precuts - sometimes to get all the fabrics and sometimes just to make a fast quilt.
ReplyDeleteI like pre-cuts but I more often buy yardage.
ReplyDeletemy favorite precut is fat quarters. Love your pattern. Great design to show-off Morrison Park.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely YAH for precuts - all perfectly cut and matched - who could ask for anything more?!
ReplyDeleteLove precuts, favorite is layer cake
ReplyDeleteWild Blossoms is the perfect pattern to show off Morrison Park! I would stare at it all day, too!

ReplyDeleteSo fun to see how many different ways designers use the same fabric line! Thanks for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI have some precuts but to date have not used them. Love your pattern as well as Morrison Park fabrics. Follow both Pat & yourself.
ReplyDeleteYay for precuts, but I love scrappy quilts that mix in other fabrics with them.
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is adorable! Love all the colors and the design. I love fat quarters and sometimes buy charm packs. I have only bought a partial layer cake. I like the designs you can make from them but I like picking all the fabrics myself. I am a mix and match kind of person. Glad you could be a part of the tour. K- lkw2x6-apq@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteYour quilt is beautiful and charming. Can't wait to know you better through Facebook, Instagram, and your blog.
ReplyDeletePre cut all the way. 95% of my quilts are pre cut, fat quarters and jelly rolls are my chouce.

ReplyDeleteI am a fat quarter fan! Your Morrison Park quilt is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI used to think pre cuts were too expensive, now I love them. It is nice to have coordinating fabrics during this time of confinement. Shipping is wonderful and quiltalongs are so much fun.
ReplyDeleteThis does look like an incredible quilt to create! I thank you for sharing all of your wonderful talents with us. Plus, what fabulous fabric to have the chance to win! Thank you and have a wonderful evening!
ReplyDeleteYay!

I enjoy using precuts--saves sew much time! This quilt is beautiful!! Pat hit a homerun with Morrison Park and so did you with this quilt.

ReplyDeletesome precuts are ok but I don't routinely buy.
ReplyDeletePrecuts are definitely a yay! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love the pattern! I prefer yardage to precuts.
ReplyDeleteI love layer cakes!
ReplyDeleteMy precuts have been mostly fat quarters, which I love. I've used a charm pack or two for special projects, and they were nice too!
ReplyDeleteI love pre cuts. I use charm packs all the time. It’s a good way to get the experience of a whole fabric line without much expense. I use layer cakes and jelly rolls also.
ReplyDeleteYay, if I am looking for a specific line. If I'm going scrappy, I stroll through my yardage. Thanks
ReplyDeleteI love to use precuts doing a quilt right now from a later cake
ReplyDeleteI love to use precuts doing a quilt right now from a later cake
ReplyDeletePrecuts, yay! For quick and 3asy patterns. I use yardage when planning my own design.
ReplyDeleteNay- I'm a scrappy kind of girl.
ReplyDeleteNay for precuts. I like cutting fabric and it fits my budget better.
ReplyDeleteYay! They are my new love,
ReplyDeleteI do like precuts, mostly for the variety. I can get the whole line in one order. But, old school, I really like having enough yardage that when I mess up the cutting I have extra to fix my error. THanks.
ReplyDeleteYah for precuts (some of the time). Thank you!
ReplyDeleteLove this unique pattern. Love Morrison Park fabric. Thank you for sharing
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely fabric!!
ReplyDeleteYay! Love the great variety you get in a precut.

ReplyDeletecrazeematz@gmail.com
Double yay for precuts!!!! cmberry@lsu.edu
ReplyDeleteI only use precuts occasionally.
ReplyDeletePrecuts are very helpful. Thanks, your quilt inspires!
ReplyDeleteI love to work with precuts. They save time.
ReplyDeleteLove precuts!! thanks for inviting us to your page!
ReplyDeleteI am pretty new to precuts. Now that I have a better understanding of them I love them.
ReplyDeleteGreat fabric selection and quilt design!
ReplyDeleteWhen I want every fabric in a new line, they are a yay! When I open them up and have to deal with uneven cuts and lint everywhere, they are a nay. I find them more work than to cut my own strips or squares, but the convenience of getting a small amount of multiple fabrics is a siren song.
ReplyDeletelovely to "meet" you on this tour
ReplyDeleteI like precuts! They allow you to get pieces of a full collection. Right now I’m trying to work through my fabric stash.
ReplyDeleteYour Wild Blossoms pattern is lovely!

ReplyDeleteI LOVE pre-cuts! So many ways to use them, so many quilt ideas!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilt! Love pre-cuts!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous quilt! I love precuts! But tend to purchase more yardage.
ReplyDeleteYay for precuts, though I have weaned myself from mini-charms, jelly rolls. I like fat quarters, of course, and also charm packs and layer cakes. Your quilt sparkles and shines.
