Benartex Brand Ambassador!

I am excited to announce that I am a Benartex Brand Ambassador for 2023!

This is their first year running this program and I love that I'm part of the inaugural year. Benartex fabrics have always been a favorite of mine and getting to share that fabric love with you is a privilege.

Fellow Ambassadors

Give them a follow!

There will be projects shared by Ambassadors every week all year long. I personally will have four to share with you, one each quarter.

Here are a few of my projects that used Benartex fabrics.

I used Pat Sloan's Morrison Park in Wild Blossoms.

Modern Marks designed by Christa Quilts for Benartex was an early line I used as well. I used them in my Broken Panes pattern.

I've also used Benartex basics the last two years for The Monthly Color Challenge.

The 2021 Monthly Color Challenge featured their Superior Solids line. This fabric was amazing to work with.

This year's 2022 Monthly Color Challenge features their Linen-Esqu line. This fabric is great for a solid color with a bit of extra texture. (It might be my favorite basic, shhhhhhh.)

I used two Benartex fabric lines for the Turning Wheels pattern.

Frolic is such a lovely combination of colors.

Really, though, the backing stole the show.

Cheryl Haynes' (Prairie Grove Peddler) A Wooly Autumn is another great line from Benartex. I LOVE the mustard gold color in this.

English Autumn was used for The Border Quilt 4, the fourth quilt in the Medallion Series from PBJ. That dark background is so saturated and yummy.

The fabrics from Bentartex are a dream to work with, which is why I keep going back to them. It wasn't hard to decide if I wanted to apply to become a Benartex Brand Ambassador and I'm really excited to see what fabric awesomeness I can share with you in 2023!

Look for the unboxing of the first set of goodies soon!

Quilters Holiday Gift Guide

Who needs ideas for their quilty friends? Better yet, who needs a place to send their family to for gift ideas for you? 😉

I have a few fun ideas for you and a few practical ideas. Enjoy!

The "I Sipped" wine glass is a great gift for any quilter who enjoys quilting, but has experienced one of those moments when you just have to walk away. Enjoy wine, water, eggnog, iced coffee or your favorite drink in this fun quilting glass.

This "Get a Grip" is my favorite for keeping my foot pedal in place! It was introduced to me by Fabrics Plus JUST before they closed and it works amazingly. So glad I didn't miss it!!

You've seen the Exploding Heart pattern from Slice of Pi quilts, NOW check out her newest version; an Exploding Heart wood puzzle. Perfect for the quilting puzzle lover in your life. Choose from an already stained version or one to paint yourself.

The Ultima 45mm Rotary blades are the blades I use for cutting fabric. They fit in my Olfa cutter and are great blades. Honestly, I will probably only buy Olfa blades if I forget to order a package of these. Which could happen, since I usually only go through one package a year, they are THAT good.

Reserve your 2022 Jolly Box now and give yourself the gift of quilty joy. 😉

I piece all the things using Gutterman's grey polyester thread. So to keep my stitching moving forward I wind all the bobbins I can and keep them in a bobbin saver. They have different savers for different bobbin sizes and it's a favorite of mine.

Do you know a modern quilter who is looking for a great magazine? Make Modern Magazine is a magazine based in Australia. Amazing quilts and articles abound in this digital magazine.

I have had my eye on this Quilting Santa puzzle for a couple of years now. I think it's time "Santa" puts it in my stocking! Our family loves a good puzzle, so it's really a family gift, right?

What are some gifts you like to give the quilters in your life? Let me know in the comments!
