October Color Challenge Link Up

The October Color Challenge Link Up is live!




Octobers Color Challenge was Blue Violet. Was this one easier or harder than the Red Violet?

  1. After looking at/for red-violet all last month it took a while to figure out what was blue-violet in my stash. It took some digging to find fabrics that I liked together. I used Jen's block, but had to adjust since I had 3 different 5" squares only of fabric to make the borders. My block doesn't have the exact matching 'L' shape. It was fun to make. I have learned that I absolutely love star blocks. Thanks, Jen for hosting!!!

    1. It was difficult for me as well, my eye kept going towards the red violets in my fabrics. Way to make your stash work for you!! Thank you for sewing along!
