  1. Yay, but you do have to be careful for those that run small.

  2. I love your beautiful quilt. It really sets off Pat's colors and patterns. Can't wait to come back and see the other testers results. Thank you!

    ReplyDelete
  3. I love your quilt. Yay on precuts. All my quilting these days is for charity and precuts make it so easy.

    ReplyDelete
  4. Love your color choices from Morrison Park -- especially the blocks that seem to disappear into the background.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Because my stash is filled with scraps and leftovers from previous projects, I love precuts--so clean, such a fresh start!

    ReplyDelete
  6. I am new at this, so precuts eliminate one layer of stress for this newbie!

    Thank you for the giveaway!!

    ReplyDelete
  7. Pre-cuts - definitely yay! When you buy them, you know that they will all go together well. My problem is that I have started to just do the same patterns each time, so I am now using some of the many books I have to look for something a bit different to do - a different pattern. I’m such a fan of pre-cuts that I have boxes filled with them, and have plans to create my own; yes, I know that isn’t really what you mean by pre-cuts, but the ease of having a box of shapes cut ready appeals to me. One day, perhaps in the not too distant future, I will use my Sizzix Bigshot to cut shapes from my growing stash, so that I can make the quilts that are in my head (and as none of my social groups are meeting at the current time here in the U.K., I have little else to do apart from cook and sew, so I may get round to doing it sooner!)

    ReplyDelete
  8. I love fat quarters! I really like yardage though for bigger projects. I thought a mini bolt was a huge amount - finished that baby off in under two months!

    ReplyDelete
  9. My favorite precuts are fat quarters and 10' squares. Your pattern looks beautiful! Love the Morrison Park fabric.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I love the process from cutting to binding - so I am not much on precuts

    ReplyDelete
  11. Yay!❤️ Precuts are a great way to use all or a wide variety of designs from a line. They can also save time and are easier to handle than yardage. But, you already knew that.😊

    ReplyDelete
  12. Beautiful pattern and use of the MorrisonPark fabrics! Thanks for hosting this giveaway. I can’t believe it took Pat Sloan’s giveaway for me to find you as I live in Willmar, MN! Small quilting world!!

    ReplyDelete
  13. I prefer fat quarters. I love your quilt!

    ReplyDelete
  14. Precuts are great, especially charms and jelly rolls.

    ReplyDelete
  15. I really like the pattern you designed.

    ReplyDelete
  16. A big Yah from me for pre cuts!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Love the fabric and beautiful quilt! Yay to precuts.

    ReplyDelete
  18. I agree, I could sit and look at this all day too❣️ Your pattern makes Pat’s fabric really stand out!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Love your Quilt and the fact that it uses fat quarters! I love using precuts as much as I love pulling from my stash. 😊 Precuts are great for when I want to make something quick as most of the cutting is already done!I

  20. I got started quilting by following Jenny Doan's tutorials, so I began with precuts and still like to use them.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Became a fan when Pat Sloan introduced me to Perfect 10 layer cake sew along.

    ReplyDelete
  22. yay to precuts....sometimes :-)

    ReplyDelete
  23. I find myself reaching for the pre-cuts in my stash over yardage. Mostly FQ and jelly rolls- I think it’s because they’re easier to manipulate.

    ReplyDelete
  24. I am ambivalent about precuts. On one hand, you get an assortment of colors and prints, and they can be convenient to use. On the other hand, they don't always work with the patterns that I want to use them for. They also tend to be expensive.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Love your quilt! That would definitely be a yay on pre-cuts!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Beautiful use of the fabrics. Fresh and warm quilt!

    ReplyDelete
  27. This is just the prettiest and cozy looking quilt! I always enjoy seeing what little sneak peek you are sharing. Your comment about your husband gave me a chuckle. When it comes to fabric...... I love charm squares and can't resist fat quarters, layer cakes are delicious and the list goes on. Thanks for the lovely giveaway!

    ReplyDelete
  28. I am neutral on pre-cuts. I rarely purchase them as it is less expensive to buy yardage and I can select the fabrics I want with yardage.

  30. I love the way this beautiful quilt keeps the eye moving! I love working with precuts. A great time saver!

    ReplyDelete
  31. I love precuts and have more than I need. They are very handy and don't take up a lot of room.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Precuts are ok, for a scrappy look. I like that more lines are coming out with two colors. I like to buy a yard or two if I'm not sure what it will be for.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Love your quilt with Morrison Park!! I do love pre-cuts. I've done quite a few quilts with them.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Your quilt is so pretty. Great job!

    ReplyDelete
  43. Pat did a great job on the fabrics---and therefore you had a great pallet to work with, love your quilt.

    ReplyDelete
  44. I love precuts! That is a beautiful quilt!

    ReplyDelete
  45. PS I love precuts---the collection all in one tangible bundle.

    ReplyDelete
  46. Beautiful pattern! Love the red border! Pat would be happy (she love red)!!

    ReplyDelete
  47. I love FQ’s. Will use Charm Packs and Layer Cakes if I want a variety of prints from the same line.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I love FQ’s! Beautiful pattern!!

    ReplyDelete
  49. When I started quilting I bought a lot of precuts. Problem was, maybe I wanted to make a quilt using 2 packs of say, 5 inch squares, but I only had one. Now I prefer to buy fat quarter bundles, so I have a better chance at having enough!

    ReplyDelete
  50. Really enjoying the fabric tour - this quilt is beautiful!

    ReplyDelete
  51. Hi. Thanks for sharing the different morrison park color ways on your fb page, such beautiful choices. Love your quilt

    ReplyDelete
  52. I love precuts...sometimes it's just hard to cut into a beautiful stack of them though! Your quilt is so lovely, thanks for sharing.

    ReplyDelete
  53. I understand why you stare at this quilt, it’s beautiful.

    ReplyDelete
  54. Not a precut fan as here in Canada they are expensive and not easy to buy. Often there are prints in precuts that don't appeal to me. I love to pick my own fabrics. I do love your pattern and the fabrics you chose. Great finish!

    ReplyDelete
  55. Yes pre-cuts! Fabric has gotten so expensive and I want to use a full collection every now and then.

    ReplyDelete
  56. Pre cuts, depends on the pattern. Pretty quilt.

    ReplyDelete
  57. I love fat quarters. There are so many blocks and quilt patterns that work with these. I remember my grandmother having to cut yardage down to the sizes for each block.

    ReplyDelete
  58. I love precuts especially FQ bundles... very versatile!!

    ReplyDelete
  59. A few but too many times there are colors or patterns I don't care for so usually pick my own. Adorable pattern and I like the scrappy backing too.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Yay, for precuts--I have most of the varieties!!
    barbkaup(at)(yahoo)(dot)(com)

    ReplyDelete
  61. I always love the look of precuts but unless it is a fat quarter, I find them hard to use without a pattern or directions. Usually one charm pack is not enough but how many should I buy of one line if I don't know what I will do with it?

    ReplyDelete
  62. Your Wild blossoms pattern looks great in Morrison Park. I like fat quarters best as they give you more options, but a layer cake is great when you just want some of the whole line and have no specific pattern in mind.

    ReplyDelete
  63. Your quilt is so colorful. I like that you design patterns for beginners

    ReplyDelete
  64. Jen I love your quilt! Thank you so much for being part of my tour!

    ReplyDelete
  65. I do like them but most of the time I cut my own because it’s more economical

    ReplyDelete
  66. I like some precuts, but tend to go for the larger ones, like layer cakes or fat quarters.

    ReplyDelete
  67. For certain projects, I like products but not for quilts.

    ReplyDelete
  68. Precuts are wonderful, especially fat quarters. I love your quilt!!!
    Thank you

    ReplyDelete
  69. I love pre-cuts! Sometimes I cut my own from half yards (10" sqs and 2-+/2" ans 1-1/2" strips).

    ReplyDelete
  70. Precuts are always awesome when you don't want to purchase a large amount of fabric. Depending on what you are making they work perfectly.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I like to buy precuts but have many now that I have never used. I recently purchased a few books for different side precuts, so maybe I will finally use them.

    ReplyDelete
  72. I love precuts but being on a low fixed income I usually end up making my own.

    ReplyDelete
  73. Beautiful quilt and fun blog! Thanks Jen.

    ReplyDelete
  74. I like precuts but haven't used them much. I enjoyed visiting your site and seeing your Wild Blossoms quilt.

    ReplyDelete
  75. I love precuts! So many options for patterns now and you get a little of each print without having to buy lots of yardage.

    ReplyDelete
  76. I love precuts! Easier to store, less cutting, usually cheaper overall than buying 1/2 yd increments of 10 to 20 different fabrics in a line. I do realize you pay for the manufacturer to cut the precuts, but I still like suitable precuts.

    ReplyDelete
  77. Love precuts. Beautiful quilt.

    ReplyDelete
  78. Wow I really love your pattern and the colors you've chosen...
I just might have to get the kit...😘💗

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  100. Yay for precuts, but I love scrappy quilts that mix in other fabrics with them.

    ReplyDelete
  101. Your quilt is adorable! Love all the colors and the design. I love fat quarters and sometimes buy charm packs. I have only bought a partial layer cake. I like the designs you can make from them but I like picking all the fabrics myself. I am a mix and match kind of person. Glad you could be a part of the tour. K- lkw2x6-apq@yahoo.com

    ReplyDelete
  125. I do like precuts, mostly for the variety. I can get the whole line in one order. But, old school, I really like having enough yardage that when I mess up the cutting I have extra to fix my error. THanks.

    ReplyDelete
  137. Great fabric selection and quilt design!

    ReplyDelete
  138. When I want every fabric in a new line, they are a yay! When I open them up and have to deal with uneven cuts and lint everywhere, they are a nay. I find them more work than to cut my own strips or squares, but the convenience of getting a small amount of multiple fabrics is a siren song.

    ReplyDelete
