Piecing Tips
For strip piecing and trimming tips see THIS POST.
Do you find that as you trim units from strips that every now and then, for whatever reason, you get a piece that is suddenly not straight? Here's what I do. instead of lining up the outside edge of the fabric with the needed measurement to cut, I move my ruler over just a bit further, making sure my middle seam is straight along the ruler. Make that cut, then flip the unit you just cut.
Now trim off that wonky size and you have a straight unit.
